In our collaboration with Carlsberg, we are implementing environmentally friendly label formulations for the new product launch of Carlsberg Greener Green with C2C-certified colours!

“Our customer approached us and confronted us with the challenge of printing labels that function according to the C2C principle. The result was that our previous efforts to develop environmentally friendly inks were close to C2C’s requirements. So we only had to make small variations to meet all the requirements.” The colours used play a central role in the question of whether the labels can be transferred into the natural material cycle. We rely on water-based coatings and mineral oil-free inks and, together with customers and partners from science and associations, are also developing new processes for resource-saving label printing and recycling of all materials.

STIEGL-GOLDBRÄU

For many years, Stiegl has been committed to protecting resources and thinking in terms of recycling. Now the Salzburg private brewery is once again setting an example by converting its labels to recycled paper. The 1st bottle of Stiegl-Goldbräu with an environmentally friendly label has now left the production line.
