We are saving 609,000 kg of CO2
The increased demand for sustainable and environmentally friendly labels clearly shows that our efforts to produce product features with responsibility are absolutely right and worth the effort.
When it comes to environmental protection, we want to set a good example for other manufacturers and are working intensively on the realisation of a Cradle to Cradle (C2C) certified label. The C2C principle aims to achieve a closed loop of recyclable materials, for example through compostable labels. But only if everyone takes part is it possible to completely avoid non-recyclable waste products. Even if not everyone participates yet, one has to start.

Climate protection is also an important issue for us – so we also make our contribution in this area by supporting renewable energies. Our efforts have now been rewarded by EMAS with the certificate “100 % renewable energies”.
This means that our use of renewable energies will probably save around 609,000 kg of CO2 per year compared with the German electricity mix. We are very pleased about the certification – for us it means a further step in the proper direction to produce environmentally compatible labels and product features.
