In our collaboration with Carlsberg, we are implementing environmentally friendly label formulations for the new product launch of Carlsberg Greener Green with C2C-certified colours!
„Our customer approached us and confronted us with the challenge of printing labels that function according to the C2C principle. The result was that our previous efforts to develop environmentally friendly inks were close to C2C’s requirements. So we only had to make small variations to meet all the requirements.“
The colours used play a central role in the question of whether the labels can be transferred into the natural material cycle. We rely on water-based coatings and mineral oil-free inks and, together with customers and partners from science and associations, are also developing new processes for resource-saving label printing and recycling of all materials.
